Gaskets are perishable parts which means they will need replacing over time as they wear down with consitent use. This gasket cap is located on the machine between the housing and the rear end cap. The main job of a gasket is to prevent leaks between two parts or surfaces. If your machine is leaking gas or liquid it is a good indicator whether your gasket has ran its course and needs to be replaced.
