Carbon Brush Holder is often known as the "carbon brush plate" often found on Drills and other power tools. With carbon brushes being a wearable part, they are usually the most common component to be replaced along with the plate/holder assembly. If the carbon brushes are worn they can cause loss of power, braking issues, and an increased likelihood of the armature burning out. Changing brushes is usually a relatively simple process and it is a good idea to check the condition of your armature during the repair.

Please note this holder assembly does NOT come with carbon brushes.
