The Armature is one of the main integral parts of the motor, Used in conjunction with the carbon brushes and the field to create the oomph your grinder needs for your everyday jobs. During General usage, these can sometimes become worn and burn out leaving your grinder lacking power or even sparking and smoking your workshop out. It is recommended to do regular checks on your armature, especially during maintenance of the carbon brushes and field.
