Genuine Makita Stator For Hp332 Df332 Df032D Cordless Driver Drill 
The stator for Makita models HP332, DF332, and DF032D is a crucial stationary component of the power tool's brushless motor. Its primary function is to generate the magnetic field that interacts with the rotating component, the rotor, to create the torque needed to operate the tool. 

How it works
Inside the motor, the stator is a fixed core, usually made of laminated steel with copper wire windings. When the battery's electrical current flows through these windings, they become powerful electromagnets. 
In a brushless motor, a constant stream of alternating current is supplied to the stator. This creates a rotating magnetic field around the stationary core, which constantly changes its polarity. This magnetic interaction with the magnets on the rotor causes the rotor to spin at high speed, effectively converting the electrical energy from the battery into the mechanical energy that powers the tool.

Converts electrical to mechanical energy: The stator and rotor work together to transform the battery's electrical power into the rotational motion that turns the drill bit or screwdriver.
Creates torque: The magnetic field produced by the stator is what exerts the force on the rotor, creating the rotational torque needed for drilling and driving applications.
Ensures smooth operation: By providing a consistent and efficient magnetic field, the stator helps reduce vibrations and improve the overall performance and reliability of the tool.
Offers durability: The stator for these specific Makita models is designed to handle the normal operating temperatures of the tool. However, if the drill is overloaded, the windings can overheat and eventually fail. Replacing a failed stator can restore the tool to working condition.
